THANK YOU for your generous
sponsorship of and commitment to the Mint City Shootout. As
you know our local 3-on-3 tournament supports scholarships and
academic excellence at St. Joseph School while providing a
family-friendly competition during St. Johns’ annual Mint
Festival. The 19th Annual Mint City Shootout will
be held August 15 & 16, 2009 and the planning is well
underway. We are expecting a high return rate for 2009 – in a
recent participant survey 75% of respondents said they plan to
participate in this year’s 3 on 3 and 25% aren’t sure yet. We
like these numbers with the event still seven months away, but
are most pleased by the fact that nobody said no.
What about you? Can we count
on your support again this year? We understand the economy is
tight and we’re doing our best to keep costs reasonable for
teams and sponsors while maintaining the high quality event
our participants have come to depend on.
For the 19th annual Mint City
Shoot-Out, sponsorship levels will be as follows:

T-Shirt Sponsor - $250 (Early Entry Special by March 15, 2009
- $200)

Court Sponsor - $175 (Early Entry Special by March 15, 2009
- $125)
Additionally:
we are looking to expand our
sponsor base for 2009 and future years. Can you help? We are
asking existing sponsors to suggest other businesses that may
like to get involved with the 3-on-3. For every referral that
results in a 2009 sponsor commitment, we will deduct $50 from
your 2010 sponsorship!
We’ve got a great team of
volunteers, a proud history, and more good ideas than we know
what to do with - and that means is that our event will
continue to be a place where you are proud to hang your name.
